March 15th Launch Date

Thanks to everyone for checking this out. This is a side project to my chess blog, which I will probably need to put more time into. Blogging about chess requires sturdy analysis and devotion to playing many long games, but when it comes to politics, it will be much more simple. Writing opinions and giving a few sources will be a lot less stressful.
I am a firm believer that chess and politics go together like coffee and cigarettes. They're fantastic in their own, but together, both are legendary. The synergy between the two is incredible, chess players are often quite politically savy. Look at Garry Kasparov, one of the world's finest chess players, holding the world title for over a decade. Kasparov is also a writer, and politcal activist in his home country of Russia. He is a strong critic of Vladmir Putin, and continues to lobby for maintained democracy in Russia.

I am putting up this first post to inform everyone of my intentions, I will be piecing this site together over the course of the 2 weeks. I have a few columns I am preparing to post, but I want to start off with a bang. I encourage all of you to check back here on March 15th, when I will be launching the site with fresh, relevant posts. Thanks to everyone for checking out, and I hope to get some good feedback, too.
